Pathri: Despite all the odds, the promising daughter of a poor family, Akmal Jahan Ansari, has brightened the name of the area by becoming a judge. Her mother had to sell bangles to bring the daughter to the pinnacle of success..

Akmal Jahan Ansari, a resident of village Ghissupura, about 25 km from Haridwar city, has succeeded in the PCS-J exam announced on Friday. Akmal's father Nisar Ahmed died in 2007 due to illness.
