Amaravati: Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy thanked the people of Badwell for supporting the YSRCP and blessing it with an overwhelming majority. He said that with every election victory, his responsibility is increasing. The YSRCP general secretary said that the people of Badvel have foiled the conspiracies of BJP, TDP and Jana Sena. He said that people have seen the good governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thus stood by the government with full blessings.

He said that he would work hard to achieve the same success in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections. Though the opposition TDP had announced that it was pulling out of the elections, they supported the BJP candidate the whole time and took the responsibility on their shoulders. TDP leaders have acted as polling agents for the BJP. He said that similarly Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has supported the BJP candidate even after declaring him out of the competition, respecting the tradition, and the BJP had officially issued an advertisement saying that his candidate should Wind support.

He said that all the three parties are alike as they are all aware of that defeat. He claimed that the BJP got only around 800 votes in the 2019 elections, and now securing 20,000 votes reveals the secret pact between the TDP-BJP. Over 68 per cent voter turnout was recorded on the day of polling where YSRCP registered a triumphant victory and secured over 76 per cent votes and the remaining 14 per cent went to the BJP candidate supported by both TDP and Jana Sena.
