People taking advantage of Digital Health Platform e-Sanjeevani

New Delhi: During the pandemic, people are giving more preference to stay in their home, people are also taking advantage of the convenience of medical facilities while sitting at home. Through this link, two lakh people have taken teleconsultation through the central government's digital platform e-Sanjeevani. This has been achieved in just 10 days.

According to PTI, the Ministry of Health says that a record two lakh people have availed teleconsultation through e-Sanjeevani. This has been achieved in only 10 days since 9 August. From November 2019 till now 23 states, which comprises 75 percent of the population, have implemented teleconsultation e-Sanjeevani. Along with this, other states are also engaged in the exercise to implement it.

The Ministry of Health says that e-Sanjeevani can be seen as an important step as part of PM Narendra Modi's Digital India campaign. The utility of e-Sanjivani has increased among the people. Through this, it is easily available to patient care, people belonging to the medical field and those who want to use health services in this era of coronavirus.
