Bangalore: Former Karnataka Deputy CM and Congress leader G Parameshwara's PA Ramesh has committed suicide. Ramesh committed suicide in the Gan Bharti area of Bangalore. On the suicide of the PA, G Parameshwara has said that Ramesh was with him during the raid. He also told Ramesh not to worry about the raid.

Parameshwara said that, Ramesh was a very soft-spoken person. I don't know why he committed suicide. It is very unfortunate that such an incident has happened. It is noteworthy that the Income Tax team conducted raids on 30 locations of former Karnataka Deputy CM G Parameshwara on Friday. During the first day raid, the Income Tax Department had recovered Rs 4.52 crore. Sources in the Income Tax Department have told the media that, Parmeshwar's PA Ramesh was not raided nor his statement was recorded.

Therefore, the Income Tax Department does not appear to be guilty of any view in this matter. Only the statement of God was recorded. Four to five crore cash was seized during the raids of over 100 Income Tax Department officials at the premises of Karnataka Congress leaders G Parameshwara and RL Jalappa in Bengaluru and elsewhere in the state.
