New Delhi: Since the abrogation of Article 370 by the Central Government, a section of the government has been opposing the procedure adopted by it. Now, slowly, they are turning to the Supreme Court. So far, six petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court. Four of them have been held in the past 24 hours. People who speak in favour of the decision are of the opinion that the Government has followed the entire legal process. While the Opposition is saying, it has been wrongly passed.

Three petitions have been filed against the President's order to make Article 370 a dead letter in the Constitution. Other petitions have been filed in the context of curfew and its outcome in the area. The NC's petition has discussed the origin and development of Section 370 and its development and Article 35A in a very detail manner. The petitions said the founding fathers had advocated a pluralistic federal model.

The petition, citing Swaraj or self-governance, said that the right to autonomous self-government within the federal structure is an essential fundamental right. These valuable rights have been removed in a manner that violates every criterion of constitutional ethics without a 'process established by law'. The NC's petition has discussed in great detail the origin and development of article 370 and article 35A.

The petitions said the founding fathers had advocated a pluralistic federal model. Two other petitions filed by lawyers, one of which is of Kashmiri origin, have challenged the Centre's decision to de-emit Section 370, Kashmir Times Executive Editor Anuradha Bhasin filed a petition in the Supreme Court freeing media personnel and photo journalists. There is a demand for relaxation of movement for reporting. A Delhi law graduate has filed a petition seeking information from his parents. Now everybody is waiting for the court's stand.
