Dehradun: Recently the High Court has ordered the Kashipur Bar Association to reinstate the membership of Bar member Amrish Kumar Aggarwal with immediate effect. Also, the court also said that any member can file a petition against Bar Council. The case was heard before the bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Alok Kumar Verma. According to the case, expelled member Amrish Kumar Aggarwal on behalf of Kashipur Bar Association had filed a special appeal in the High Court stating that he is a member of Kashipur Bar Association, but Kashipur Bar revoked its membership without any reason.

Response to the government on the petition filed against the construction of ropeway: According to received information, then it has been learned that the High Court has given the state government 3 weeks after hearing the PIL filed against the proposed ropeway construction for Nainital. Instructions have been given for filing answers. In the affidavit submitted by the tourism department, it has been said that this is the first survey to construct ropeways and it can be built anywhere. There is no possibility of any danger from their construction. An advocate of the government demanded additional time for filing the reply. After this, the court accepted the demand and asked the state government to file an answer in 3 weeks.
