It is not even a small YouTube channel, it has 9.67 lakh subscribers. There are 3 videos on this channel that have been viewed more than 50 lakh times. In total, this channel has got 32 crore views so far. Although there is no truth in any of its news, yet YouTube, which often blocks videos and channels, citing its strict policies, has given the 'News Headlines' channel a verified tick. Along with this, the companies which check the facts of every small and big news and prove it right or wrong, are also silent on the forgery of this channel 'News Headlines.'

When you look at the titles of the videos on this channel, you will know the truth at first sight. This news channel reported, 'Modi handed over command to President, President's rule imposed in the country', 'Prime Minister Narendra Modi resigns, Nitin Gadkari will have the command', 'Sangh Pracharak Bhagwat is no more, sudden death due to heart attack', 'BJP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan resigns', 'Amitabh Bachchan joins Congress', 'Nitin Gadkari supports Congress', 'Narendra Modi found guilty in Supreme Court' such videos have been posted. All these pieces of news are fake, but still this channel has been viewed 32 crore times. However, the fact-checking community did not consider it appropriate to fact-check even one of its news.
If you look at the news of this channel, you will find that it has spread lies opposing the BJP and PM Modi and supporting the Congress. Not only this, fake news has also been spread on this YouTube channel about the Chief Justice of India (CJI) and the Election Commission (EC). The channel claimed that the Supreme Court has banned EVMs and ordered elections to be held through ballot papers, which is absolutely false. In one of the videos, 'News Headlines' has also spread the lie that the CJI has convicted PM Modi of sedition. However, PIB Fact Check has termed it fake, after which this YouTube channel spreading fake news can now be banned by the central government. Â
