Kolkata: The fourth phase of lockdown is going on in the country and the migrant workers are still going back home. They are facing many kinds of difficulties, thousands of workers are still walking on the streets. Meanwhile, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has claimed that more than 30 lakh labourers have been brought back. On Thursday, Piyush Goyal once again questioned the Congress-ruled state governments and also attacked the Mamta government of Bengal.

During a conversation with BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, Piyush Goyal said that some state governments did not cooperate properly on the labour trains. The Railway Minister said that about 40 lakh people want to return to West Bengal, but so far only 27 trains have been allowed. The Railway Minister said that only two trains had reached there earlier, but even after writing a letter by Home Minister Amit Shah, a list of 8 trains has been received.

Piyush Goyal has now said that Bengal has given a list of 104 trains, which are to go there from May 15 to June 15, that is, 1 lakh 70 thousand people will be sent through 104 trains in just 30 days. Regarding Jharkhand, Piyush Goyal said that the state of Jharkhand has allowed only 96 trains, Rajasthan has so far only 35 trains. The Railway Minister said that the time has come to take the country to normalcy.
