Jaipur: From May 1, women nursing workers in Rajasthan are sitting on an indefinite strike for their 3-point demands. But, the Gehlot government is not ready to listen. A few days back, protesting women sang bhajans to wake up the government. Havan Yagya and Hanuman Chalisa were even recited for the wisdom of the Gehlot government. However, the Congress government did not take any decision towards these women nursing employees.
Let us tell you that since May 1, women nursing employees are continuously protesting. Women tried to wake up the government by performing Havan, singing bhajans, reciting Hanuman Chalisa at the dharna site, but the Congress government is not even bothered by lice. After this, now an attempt was made by the women nursing staff to wake up the Gehlot government by playing the bean in front of the buffalo. Women nursing employees believe that if the state government does not listen to our demands, then we all will launch a fierce agitation.
For the last 17 days, women nursing workers sitting on an indefinite dharna outside the Mini Secretariat, raising slogans regarding their demands, have asked the government to fulfill their demands soon. Our movement will continue until our demands are met. District Vice President of ANM, LHV Saroj Kuntal has told that our pay grade should be increased from 2800 to 3600 and the designation should be changed. All the posts of ANM and LHV which are lying closed should be reinstated.
