In the recent past, 29 samples taken from the market have been found to be contrary to the norms. Now they are preparing to take action against the shopkeepers.

On Friday, September 17, Dr. Gaurishankar, a designated officer of the Food Safety and Drug Administration, said that the samples taken in the past were sent to the lab in Lucknow for testing. These include the name of samples like mycophil syrup, ghee, chilli, mustard oil etc. Tetragene has been found in syrup, while ghee has been found to be refined. A large quantity of Sudan colour has been found in red chillies. The DO has said that sudan colour causes many stomach related diseases. Tetrazine affects the liver. It is harmful to health.

In this regard, the official said that Katherpura in Farah, Jaibhola Medical Store in Govind Nagar, SG Retails, Krishna Ghee Store of Tilakdwar, Goyal Agency of Kosikalan, Banana Masala Industry of Vrindavan Atalla Chungi, Shrimad Gokul Dairy of Gokul, Balaji Medical Store of Kosikalan, SJA Oil Mill of Maholi Road, Poonam General Store, Manso Sharma Bakery, Rajkumar Pawan Kumar Kirana Merchant, Agarwal Restaurant of Naya Bus Stand, Girdhar Ghee of Subhash Nagar, Devendra Khoya Wale of Laxminagar, Babu Misthan Bhandar in front of Raya Mant gate, Brijwasi Dhaba of Yamuna Expressway were taken from Dhaba.
