New Delhi: People in the vicinity have approached the Delhi High Court to save a temple in The Noornagar area of the national capital. The petitioners allege that an attempt is also being made by the builder to remove the temple in the name of removing encroachments so that the atmosphere in the area can be disturbed. The petition by the Committee of Ward No. 206 of Jamia Nagar said that the Dharamshala near the temple was removed overnight. But if there is a temple here on paper, it should not be damaged.

While hearing the petition, the Delhi High Court has said that the police should ensure that there is no problem and controversy while removing encroachments, the temple in the layout plan should be safe. The petitioners have pointed out that the temple was built in 1970, which is included in the layout plan of the DDA. There are many statues in the temple, but now the builder is first trying to remove the surrounding area and the temple. This may increase tension in the area.

The court has been assured by the Delhi Corporation that no construction work is taking place there, as well as the temple is safe in its place. Let us tell you that it is believed that there is a plan to remove the Dharamshala built around the temple and build a complex here.
