Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to knock the campaign trail in the poll-bound state Karnataka from Tuesday. The prime minister is likely to address more than a dozen public meetings in five days.

This will be Modi's first tour to the southern state since the Assembly election dates were out. According to The Times of India, the prime minister will kick start BJP election campaign from Chamarajanagar district. Here he will address a public rally in Santhemaranahalli at 11.30 am.

Following the public meeting in Santhemaranahalli, Modi will head to Udupi, visit Krishna Mutt and seek blessings of the Pejawar seer before addressing another rally at AGM College Ground in Udupi at 3 pm. Later, the prime minister will tour to Chikkodi, where he will deliver address to another rally.

As per the Indian Express reported, PM Modi has a program for a tentative schedule and has been drawn up for 15 rallies.

Following the tentative schedule prepared by the PMO, Modi is also anticipated to address rallies in Gulbarga, Ballari, and Bengaluru on 3 May.

On 5 May, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Tumkur, Shivamogga, and Hubbali. He is likely to be in Raichur, Chitradurga, and Kolar on 7 May, as per the tentative schedule.

Just two days before campaigning comes to a last part in the state, On 8 May the prime minister may address public rallies in Vijayapura, Mangaluru, and Bengaluru.
