LUCKNOW: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Lucknow for the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023. Prior to the summit, he inaugurated the exhibition.
Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present on the occasion.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh's premier investment summit is the UP Global Investors Summit 2023. The massive gathering aims to bring together decision-makers, business tycoons, academics, think tanks, and world leaders to explore commercial prospects and form alliances.
According to an official release, Investor UP 2.0 is a complete, investor-centric, and service-oriented investment ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh that aims to provide investors with pertinent, clearly defined, and standardised services.
After officially opening the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address domestic and foreign industrialists.
There will be 34 sessions held in all at the summit. The first day will feature 10 sessions, the second, 13, and the last, 11, respectively. Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, Yogi Adityanath, the chief executive of Uttar Pradesh, and Nand Gopal Gupta, the state's industrial development minister Nandi will speak at the summit's opening session together with businessmen Mukesh Ambani, K Chandrasekaran, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and Anand Mahindra.
Later on the first day, a panel discussion with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav as the special guest will be held on "UP Designing and Manufacturing in India for the World."
The second day of the conference will feature a session titled "UP is Open for Business Providing New Opportunities for MSMEs and Co-operatives." Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will attend the meeting as the main guest. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, will also be present.
"UP Opportunities in Excise and Sugar Industry" is one of the sessions scheduled for the final day. Union Minister for Commerce Piyush Goyal will attend.
In Vashishtha Hall, there will be a conference on vehicles and future mobility as well as a discussion on e-mobility. Nitin Gadkari, a minister for the Union, will discuss this issue.
A bankers' discussion on the United States' progress towards an economy worth USD 1 trillion will also be held. Nirmala Sitharaman, the minister of finance for the union, will attend the meet.
