LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has finally launched the portal for creation of 'Family ID - One Family One Identity', to identify families as a unit for implementing the 'one job per family' proposal.
The ID will be available to all such families who are not qualified for the National Food Security Scheme, while the ration card ID of those families will be regarded as their family ID, according to a state government spokesman.
According to the One Family One Identification programme, "each family will be assigned a unique identity, creating a live, comprehensive database of family units for the state," the spokesman said.
This database will help with better beneficiary programme management, timely targeting, transparent operation, providing 100% of the benefit of the plan to qualified persons, and streamlining public access to government amenities, he claimed.
Families without jobs can be recognised and given priority access to suitable employment opportunities on the basis of the integrated database gained through Parivar ID.
"14.92 crore people, or around 3.59 crore families, live in Uttar Pradesh and are currently assisted by the National Food Security Scheme. These families' "family ID" will be their ration card number. Families that are not eligible for ration cards and are not covered by the National Food Security Scheme will be given the Family ID through the Family ID portal "added the official.
He continued by saying that this gateway was created to give families without ration cards a 12-digit unique family ID.
By adding themselves and their family members to the site, they might apply here.
