You all know that after the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, everybody is very happy and after that PM Narendra Modi has given the first message to the country. In his message, he has spoken of development in the Valley and urged Bollywood to shoot films in Kashmir. In a message to the country yesterday, PM Modi said, "In Jammu and Kashmir, when things are normal, not only in the country but also people from all over the world will come there to shoot films. They will bring with him many new job opportunities for the people of Kashmir," he said.

At the same time, PM Modi said, "I appeal to people in the Hindi film industry, Telugu film industry and Tamil film industry to think and give priority to the establishment of films and theatres in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh." Kashmir is the favourite destination for Bollywood films, and in 1964, Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore's Kashmir Ki Kali became very popular. Then there were popular films of the 60s that were shot there.

Article 370 revoked with the announcement of President

Then, in 2000, the film Mission Kashmir was based on terrorism in the Valley, and Shahid Kapoor's film Haider made a lot of headlines in 2014. The film showed the current state of the valley. There are reports that Vikram Batra's biopic Sher Shah is also being shot in Kashmir and this year Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Abbas's film Notebook film was shot there.
