The Imran Khan government, which has been reeling under the rise in the prices of auto fuel in Pakistan, has now announced a cut in petrol and electricity prices. In fact, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a cut in the price of petrol by Rs 10 (PKR) per litre while electricity rates by Rs 5 per unit (PKR) to reduce the burden of inflation on the public. Let us tell you all that recently Imran Khan said that the prices of petroleum and electricity will not be increased till the end of the next budget i.e. June.

Not only this, but he also said that both petrol and diesel vehicle fuel prices in Pakistan are low compared to other countries around the world. Let us also tell all of you that the opposition parties have been constantly attacking the Imran government over the rising inflation in Pakistan. Let us also inform all of you that some time ago, the Government of Pakistan had increased the price of petrol by Rs 12.03 per litre in the country, citing a record surge in crude oil prices in the international market. After that, the rate of petrol reached around 160 rupees per litre.

 

You may be aware that after the rise in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan, the country's Science and Technology Minister Shibli Faraz had advised the public to use as little fuel as possible. During that time, he had said that Pakistan is dependent on other countries for petroleum.
