The name of this government scheme is Matru Vandana Yojana, under which pregnant women are given financial assistance from the government. Children born across the country should not be malnourished and do not have any kind of disease. Keeping this in mind, this scheme has been started.

- Pregnant women should be above 19 years old.  
- In this scheme, you have to apply offline.  
- The government transfers Rs 6000 in 3 installments.  
- The scheme was launched on January 1, 2017.  

How to get the money?

In this scheme, you are given Rs 1000 in the first phase, Rs 2000 in the second phase, and Rs 2000 in the third phase to pregnant women. At the same time, the government gives the last 1000 rupees to the hospital at the time of the birth of the child.
