New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Wednesday, counter attack at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over his remarks on PM Modi .Asserting  PM Modi 'does not need a script', Bjp hit back at former PM of India. It is noted that On Tuesday, Dr. Singh had stated that he was 'not afraid of speaking with the press', in a reference to PM Modi, who was targetted by Congress president Rahul Gandhi for not addressing the presser.

BJP responded to a question on Singh's remarks on PM Modi. Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi stated that Dr. Singh used to talk 'on someone's order' and is 'doing the same now'.

 "He is a senior leader and a former PM. When he was PM, he used to talk on someone’s order and script. Even now he is doing same. He should realise that PM Modi doesn't need prompter, script or a director," Naqvi was quoted as saying news agency ANI on Wednesday .

Worth mention here speaking at the launch of Changing India, a book inspired on his life as an economist, Singh had, on Tuesday stated that he wasn't the prime minister who was afraid of talking to the press. He added that on every foreign trip, he used to have a press conference, either there or onboard the flight or immediately after landing back in India.
