On Tuesday, PM Narendra Modi held an extensive discussion on the COVID-19 epidemic with his Portuguese counterpart Antonio Costa, during which the two leaders agreed to continue supporting each other to ensure the supply of medical products, especially during crises.

During the talks, the Portuguese Prime Minister congratulated PM Modi on the good results achieved in dealing with the epidemic in the country.

On the other hand, the number of patients infected with the Coronavirus is increasing continuously. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 49,391. Of which 33,514 are active, 14,183 people have become healthy or have been discharged from the hospital and 1694 people have died. Today 60 new cases have been registered in Andhra Pradesh and 35 in Rajasthan.
