New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today greeted the nation on the occasion of Janmashtami. PM Modi tweeted from his official Twitter handle, "Best wishes to all of you on Janmashtami. Jai Sri Krishna!'' On the other hand, the President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind, has also greeted the people of the country on the occasion of Janmashtami.

 

In a tweet, the President wrote, "Heartiest greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. This festival is an opportunity to learn about the lifestyle of Lord Krishna and dedicate himself to his messages. I wish this festival infuses happiness, health, and prosperity in everyone's lives.'' Vice President Venkaiah Naidu also took to Twitter to convey his greetings on this special occasion.

In his tweet, he wrote, "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami!'' In another tweet, he wrote, 'On this auspicious day, let us all resolve to discharge our duties with utmost sincerity and follow the path of truth. May this festival of Janmashtami bring peace, harmony, and prosperity to our country.'
