Mumbai: PM Modi has expressed grief over the incident in The Dogari area of Mumbai. A four-storey building collapsed in Mumbai's Dongri on Tuesday. 12 people have been reported killed in the incident. Prime Minister Modi has said that my condolences are with the families who have lost their loved ones in the tragedy. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. The Maharashtra government, NDRF and local authorities are engaged in relief and rescue operations.

It is worth mentioning that the Kesarbai building collapsed at 11.30 a.m. Fire brigade, police and disaster management teams rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations, while the NDRF rushed to the spot and assisted them. The rescue operation has been affected due to narrow roads, heavy crowds and densely populated areas. The basement of the Kesarbai building under the Maharashtra Residential and Regional Development Authority also runs a food and drink business.

Mumbai Building Reform and Reconstruction Board (MBRRB) Chairman Vinod Ghosalkar has said that at least 12 people have lost their lives in the incident. But this claim could not be officially confirmed. He said that the repair work of the dilapidated building, which is believed to be 80 years old, was done by B.S.B. Singh. was assigned to developers who had not yet started the work.
