Uttar Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his sympathies on Monday following the death of six persons in a car accident in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. "A tragic traffic accident occurred in Gauriganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of those who have died as a result of this. In addition, I wish the injured individuals a swift recovery "Today, the Prime Minister's Office sent out a message.

A vehicle and truck crashed at Babuganj Sagra in the Gauriganj Kotwali district of Uttar Pradesh's Amethi on Sunday night, killing at least six persons and injuring four others, according to Superintendent of Police Dinesh Singh. The people were returning from a wedding when the event occurred, according to the police. The issue is currently being investigated further.

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,  also expressed his condolences for those who died in the tragedy and instructed officials to offer sufficient treatment to those who were injured.
