Lucknow: A horrific road accident took place in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh late on Sunday night. A speeding Scorpio car crushed the uncle-nephew riding the bike. In this incident, both uncle and nephew have died on the spot. The Scorpio car is being told of Yogesh Verma, MLA of the ruling BJP from Lakhimpur Sadar assembly seat. According to the information, this accident happened on Lakhimpur-Bahraich road.

Two youths, who seemed to be uncle-nephew in the relationship, were returning home from somewhere on a motorcycle. The youth riding the bike had just reached near Rampur that a speeding Scorpio hit him. The youth riding the bike fell due to the impact of Scorpio. The speeding Scorpio trampled the youths. MLA was written on Scorpio. This vehicle is being told of Yogesh Verma, MLA of the ruling BJP from Lakhimpur Sadar seat. Scorpio is registered in the name of MLA Yogesh Verma's wife. It is being told that at the time when this accident happened, MLA Yogesh Verma was not in the vehicle.

The reason for the accident is not yet clear, but it is being told that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to high speed. After getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot and took the dead body of the deceased and sent it for postmortem.
