Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver a speech at the upcoming Infinity Forum 2.0, a significant Financial Technology event, on December 9, 2023. This event, hosted by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and GIFT City under the Indian government's supervision, marks its second edition.

The inaugural edition, held in December 2021, drew over 95,000 registrations from 80+ countries. It featured a 'FinTech Showcase' with more than 100 virtual exhibitors alongside the main event.

IFSCA conceptualizes the Forum as a global platform to delve into financial services, fostering discussions on innovative technologies, progressive ideas, and pivotal issues from across the globe.

The upcoming second edition of Infinity Forum 2.0, anticipated in light of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, will adopt a hybrid format. It will host an in-person gathering at GIFT City, exclusively by invitation, along with virtual participation accessible to attendees worldwide.

Distinguished speakers from the Union Government and Gujarat state include Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, and Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Other eminent figures slated to address the participants are Ajay Seth, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance; K. Rajaraman, Chairperson of IFSCA; Hasmukh Adhia, Chairman of GIFT City Co. Ltd; Tapan Ray, MD and CEO of GIFT City Co. Ltd; K. V. Kamath, Chairman of National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID); and Uday Kotak, Founder and Director of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

The theme for this year's Forum is 'GIFT-IFSC: Nerve Centre for New Age Global Financial Services'. It will be explored through three focal tracks. Alongside these discussions, prominent figures from India's financial sector and globally-renowned personalities will participate and share insights.

Preceding the main event, an "Investors Meet" is scheduled for December 8, 2023. It targets FinTech entities authorized by IFSCA, recommended by IFSCA-affiliated institutions, or associated with IFSCA-authorized accelerators. This session will feature a pitching opportunity for FinTech entities to showcase their offerings, facilitating one-on-one meetings between investors and selected FinTech entities.
