BHOPAL: Sickle Cell Anaemia Mission and Ayushman Bharat Card Distribution to be Launched by PM Modi in Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch two important missions during his visit to the state. These missions include the Sickle Cell Anaemia Mission and the distribution of Ayushman Bharat cards.

Sickle Cell Anaemia Mission: Screening and Treatment Campaign- The Sickle Cell Anaemia Mission aims to address the pressing issue of the disease among the population. Chief Minister Chouhan emphasized that the mission would focus on screening individuals affected by sickle cell anaemia and facilitating their treatment. This campaign will play a vital role in improving the health outcomes and quality of life for those suffering from this condition.

Distribution of Ayushman Bharat Cards - Additionally, the distribution of over one crore Ayushman Bharat cards in Madhya Pradesh will also be initiated symbolically during Prime Minister Modi's visit. The distribution will take place at health and wellness centers, as well as in panchayats, villages, and cities across the state. This widespread distribution of Ayushman Bharat cards will ensure that the benefits of this healthcare initiative reach every corner of Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier this week, Chief Minister Chouhan had shared details about PM Modi's upcoming visit. He revealed that the Prime Minister would inaugurate two Vande Bharat trains in Bhopal on June 27. The Vande Bharat trains, connecting Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur, are significant additions to the state's transportation infrastructure.

Furthermore, during his visit, Prime Minister Modi will actively participate in various party programs. He will be present at the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Balidan Diwas program and the concluding ceremony of the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatra in Shahdol district, both of which are scheduled for June 27.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatra on June 22 from Balaghat. The yatra will commence from five different zones across the state, namely Balaghat to Shahdol, Chhindwara to Shahdol, Singrampur to Shahdol, Kalinjar Fort (UP) to Shahdol, and Dhauni (Sidhi to Shahdol). This extensive yatra aims to cover every village in these areas, promoting the legacy of Veerangana Rani Durgavati. The journey will culminate in Shahdol on June 27, coinciding with Prime Minister Modi's presence.
