Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi is visiting his constituency Varanasi on Thursday. This time his visit will be only two hours. Pm Modi will inaugurate 27 projects worth Rs 2095.67 crore including Amul Dairy Plant at Karkhiyanv on Varanasi-Jaunpur route. Pm Modi will also launch three national and state level development programmes.

 

One of these is the virtual distribution of rural residential rights record 'Gharauni' to more than 20 lakh people in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Sahitya Yojana. Villagers can use this certificate for other purposes including taking loans. The digital transfer of Rs 35 crore bonus to bank accounts of more than 1.7 lakh milk producers related to Banas Dairy will begin at the hands of the PM. The Prime Minister will also launch a portal and logo dedicated to the Scheme for Conformity Assessment of Milk Products developed by bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) with the help of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).

Pm Modi is making his second visit to Varanasi this month. On December 13, he arrived here to inaugurate the Kashi Vishwanath Dham. According to the protocol, PM Modi will arrive at Babatpur airport by air force plane around 1 pm. About 12 km seisfrom here, they will go by road to the venue at Karkhiyanv. Pm Modi will dedicate 22 development projects worth over Rs 870.16 crore. He will also lay the foundation stone of five projects worth Rs 1225.51 crore. The largest project is Banas Dairy Complex in Karkhiyanv with an outof Rs 475 crore. Spread over 30 acres of land, the dairy will be completed in two years. The plant has set a target of producing 5 lakh litres of milk daily.
