New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is addressing BJP workers across the country on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. PM Modi himself has tweeted and informed about it. In a tweet, PM Modi said that the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay inspire everyone to serve the poor.

Addressing the party workers on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, who is considered to be the patriarch of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), PM Modi said, "I convey many greetings to the BJP's hardworking workers across the country on the birth anniversary of revered Deendayal Upadhyaya. On the path that he has shown us, we can move forward with a dedicated spirit." PM Modi said, "All of you are working continuously in a dedicated manner for the safety and service of the common people. Even amidst the challenges of the corona, BJP workers have continued their service practice without stopping, without being weary. Many of our workers have also lost their lives". 

PM Modi further said that my colleagues who have finished their lives while serving the society, I respectfully give all those departed colleagues today. Today, there are few people among us who have won, seen, heard or worked with Deendayal Ji. His ways, his philosophy, the moment of life gives us hopes, inspires, fills us with energy".
