New Delhi: Today, the entire country is celebrating Indian Army Day. Today is the 73rd foundation day of the Indian Army. President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Narendra Modi have greeted all the nation on Army Day. President Kovind has said that we remember the braves who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the country. PM Modi wrote in his official tweet, "I salute the Indian Army on behalf of the countrymen."

President Kovind tweeted, "On Army Day, greetings to the brave men and women of the Indian Army. We remember the braves who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. India will always be grateful to courageous and committed soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families," PM Modi tweeted, "Heartiest greetings to the mighty soldiers and their families of the country in defence of India. Our army is strong, courageous and committed, which has always proudly elevated the head of the country. My salute to the Indian Army on behalf of all our countrymen."

On the occasion of Army Day, army day parade will be held at Cariappa Ground, Cantt in the national capital. Indian Army Chief General M.M. Narwane salute the parade and address the soldiers. Army weapons and military equipment exhibitions and firepower demonstration will also be on the occasion.
