Rajkot: India's PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of AIIMS Hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat through video conferencing. On this occasion, PM Modi said that this year taught us that health is wealth. PM Modi said that injury to health affects the entire social circle.

PM Modi said that the foundation of AIIMS in Rajkot will strengthen the health and medical education of the entire country including Gujarat. He said, "Farewell to the year 2020 with a new National Health Facility, this year's challenge also tells and also shows the priority of the new year." PM Modi also said, "This year of difficulty has shown how effectively it can face difficult times when India is united."

PM Modi further said that India took effective steps in time with solidarity, the result of that is that we are in a much better position today. The country which has more than 130 crore people, is densely populated. There are about 1 crore people who have won by fighting this disease. He said, "2021 is bringing the hope of treatment. Every necessary preparation is going on in the country regarding the vaccine. Efforts are in the final stages to make the vaccine made in India reach every required category."
