Lucknow: The expansion of Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has now reached its final stage. The corridor being built under the name of Kashi Vishnnath Corridor is one of the ambitious projects of PM Narendra Modi. PM Modi is visiting his constituency Varanasi on December 13. He will also dedicate the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
According to the report, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor is now spreading unique hues with colourful lights. This time Kashi is being decorated on the lines of Dev Deepawali. On 13th December, when PM Modi inaugurated the corridor, 'Chalo Kashi month' will also start. According to the report, earlier the premises of Lord Kashi Vishwanath Temple had spread over an area of less than 5,000 square feet, but now its area has increased to 5 lakh 27 thousand 730 sqft. In view of the facilities of the devotees, many buildings have been constructed here. Along with this, Manimala of 27 temples has also been constructed.
Three things have been mainly taken care of in its construction, temple complex, chowk, trail and 23 buildings adjoining it. 3 centres have also been set up here for the convenience of passengers. With this, several other facilities including Vedic Centre, Tourist Facilitation Centre, Multipurpose Hall, Guest House have been constructed. An investment of about Rs.600 crores has been made in the construction of the entire project.
