New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all sent to attend the annual National Cadet Corps (NCC) PM rally on Saturday at about 5:45 PM at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi, a release from the Prime Minister's Office read.
NCC is commemorating its 75th anniversary this year. During the ceremony, the Prime Minister will unveil a special Day Cover and a commemorative specially minted coin in the denomination of Rs 75/-, commemorating NCC's 75 years of success.
The rally will be a hybrid day and night event, with a cultural presentation on the subject 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'.
In the traditional Indian spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, 196 officers and cadets from 19 other countries have been invited to join in the festivities.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister will visit Asind in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district to commemorate the 1111th birth anniversary of Lord Devnarayan, the state's folk deity, according to the statement.
