New Delhi: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address via video conference the valedictory session of the 96th Common Foundation Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA).
The PMO said, the Prime Minister will dedicate the revamped Happy Valley Complex to the nation and inaugurate the new sports complex. The 96th Foundation Course at LBSNAA includes 488 OTs from 16 services and three Royal Bhutan Services, and is based on the Mission Karmyogi principle, with novel methodology and design (Administrative, Police, and Forest). The new methodology, based on the Mission Karmayogi concepts, was created to tap into the youthful batch's adventurous and innovative spirit.
The 96th Foundation Course is the first Common Foundation Course at LBSNAA, according to the PMO, and is built on the Mission Karmyogi principle, with innovative pedagogy and design. Through activities such as engagement with Padma Awardees in the spirit of 'Sabka Prayas,' the Officer Trainee was transformed from a student/civilian to a public servant. All 488 Officer Trainees received first-level Krav Maga and other sports training.
Tests were also conducted to help a 'exam-stressed student' transition to a healthy 'youthful civil servant.
