Star golfer Tiger Woods was badly injured in a car accident in February this year and suffered severe injuries to his right leg. He is now fit and is all set to return with his 12-year-old son Charlie at the PNC Championships next week. This is his first tournament after the accident. In the PNC Championship, the players entered the fray along with the family members. The last time Tiger landed with his son was and remained at 7th position.

Tiger underwent surgery after a car accident. His ankle and upper part of the toe were badly damaged. Tiger himself has to say that he was afraid that he would not be able to cut his right foot. He remained in the hospital for three weeks. After that he was on a bad rest in his florida home for a long time. Rods and screw have also been used to connect their foot bones. Woods had an accident on February 23 when he was coming from a TV shoot. His luxurious car fell down the hill. He also recently posted a video in which he was seen hitting a shot with a bandage on his right foot.

PNC Championship was earlier also known as the Father-Son Challenge tournament but later allowed to include other family members. For the first time in the 24-year history of the tournament, current number one Nelli Korda was seen playing alongside her father, former Australian Open champion Petr Korda. Defending champion Justin Thomas will land with his father, former golfer Mike.
