Begusarai: After Saran and Siwan in Bihar, now a case of death due to drinking alcohol has also been reported in Begusarai. One person died in the district, while the condition of one is critical, who has been admitted to the hospital. After the poisonous liquor scandal in the state, the Begusarai police immediately came into action and started investigating. Police have arrested two persons and are interrogating them.   

Police under the leadership of Teghra DSP Ravindra Mohan Prasad is investigating the matter. On December 14, one person died after consuming alcohol, while one person has been referred to Patna after his health deteriorated. Police have detained two persons who consumed liquor along with the deceased and are interrogating them. The man who consumed liquor with the deceased said that it was brought from Delhi in a white bottle, which everyone sat and drank. Throat was also burning due to this.  

So far 65 people have died due to drinking poisonous liquor in Bihar. In Chhapra, the highest number of 60 people have lost their lives due to drinking poisonous liquor. Apart from this, 4 people have died in Siwan, and now one person in Begusarai. However, the person who died in Begusarai had taken liquor from Delhi. Speaking in the Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that no compensation will be given to anyone who dies due to alcoholism. Nitish once again said that if you drink alcohol, you will die. He said that we are following the path shown by The Father of the Nation Bapu.
