Vaishali: Once again, poisonous liquor has wreaked havoc in Bihar. The case is from Vaishali where 3 persons have died after consuming poisonous liquor while two people are battling for life. The incident took place in Birpur village of the Raghopur block area. The family members of the deceased have told that 5 people had consumed alcohol late on Friday in the village itself, after which everyone's health started deteriorating from Saturday morning.
After the deteriorating health, all of them were admitted to a hospital in Fatuha, Patna, for treatment, where three people died due to treatment while two people are still ill, who are undergoing treatment. The body of one of the deceased, Jangli Mahato, was cremated by the family members, but the police have brought the bodies of two people to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The police are investigating the whole incident. The deceased have been identified as Rama Mahto (50), Ram Pravesh Mahato (35), Jangli Mahto (35) and Pawan Mahato (35). After this incident, there has been a stir in the entire village. The police are currently investigating the whole matter.
