Mumbai: A shocking incident has come to light from Kalyan in Maharashtra. Where the traffic police cut a challan of Rs 500 for not wearing the helmet of the auto driver. It is being said that on 3 December 2021, a two wheeler driver was going somewhere without wearing a helmet in Kandivali area of Mumbai. The traffic police present on the spot took his picture. But the challan has come in the name of auto rickshaw driver Gurunath Chikankar. The picture in the challan is of a two wheeler driver, but the number, name and phone number of the auto is of Gurunath.

When the same auto rickshaw driver Gurunath Chikankar came to know about the penalty of Rs 500 from the mobile phone, he was surprised. Then he asked Kalyan Traffic Police about this matter, then they asked him to go to Thane and Mumbai. On this, the rickshaw puller said that when it is not my fault then why should I stop work and go to Mumbai and Thane for a hit?

Along with this, Gurunath told that the traffic police need to rectify their mistake themselves. Gurunath has suffered mental pain due to all these problems, the rickshaw driver has demanded immediate cancellation of the notice and fine received in this case. The system of e-invoicing has started recently in Kalyan. Due to which many flaws are coming to the fore. Madan Chikankar, a relative of the auto rickshaw driver, told that the traffic police should be punished for violating traffic rules while working on their e-challan system.
