Delhi: Police seized 'Rs 3 crore' old currency from 'Karol Bagh Hotel'

In New Delhi today investigators have found Rs 3 crore of banned currency in a hotel room. Five people along with money were caught from Taksh Inn in Karol Bagh. They were supposed to take the cash from Mumbai Airport to some other place.

Police told that the money was kept in suitcases and was covered in such a way that it doesn?t get detected in Airport scanning machines. Income Tax Department and Delhi Police together raided the hotel.

Police have also seized mobile phones of these males and have sent for investigation so that data can give some information.
