Indore:. For pre-planning of the programme and for deciding its events and activities, a meeting was organized under the Superintendent of Police (HQ) Suraj Verma on December 5. In the meeting, it is discussed that students will be made to learn about the role of police in society as well as they will be made aware about the dos and don'ts on social media. The students will be taught about the basic laws and crimes. The programme will have indoor and outdoor activities.

Elsewhere, Police launch we care for you helpline to check violence against women: Upping the ante to women care, Ujjain police have launched a helpline-we care for you, on December 5. The helpline was inaugurated by SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla. Shukla said that the main aim to start the helpline is to protect women and girls from eve-teasing, mental and physical exploitation and domestic violence.

Amy women and girl can dial 70-49-11-90-02 or send a mail at wecareforyou@gmail.com to share their ordeal with the police. The name of the plaintiff will be kept private. All senior officers were present.
