Four policemen have been dismissed from service by the Indian state of Bihar on charges of abusive behavior and consuming alcohol from a senior officer during lockdown.

According to information received from the Police Headquarters on Friday, on March 28, RafiGanj Block Development Officer and Police Officer reached the spot on the incident of constable Dileep Kumar with Officer-in-Chief Awadhesh Kumar Singh near Tiwari Bigha Bus Stand Rafiganj in Aurangabad District.

For your information, let us tell you that in the meantime, by calling fellow soldiers from the Bihar Military Police Camp located in the Shepherd School, they also committed indecent abuse with the Zonal Officer, Block Development Officer and Police Station. Three of the jawans involved in the incident, Rakesh Kumar, Pappu Kumar and Saroj Kumar, were found to be in a drunken state, which was confirmed by medical examination. A case has been registered against the three soldiers under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amended) Act-2018 and sent to judicial custody.
