Pooja Bhatt is one of the renowned faces in bollywood. The actress has done some movies in her career span. Meanwhile, the actress has also worked in various films as a director. Pooja Bhatt is all set for her upcoming film Chup: Revenge of The Artist.

Pooja Bhatt had made her acting comeback after two decades with the Netflix show Bombay Begums. She plays the role of Rani Irani, the CEO of a bank, in the show, which explores topics ranging from sexuality, harassment at the workplace, power politics in an organization. The actress played a very bold role in the movie. The actress in a recent interview shared an experience of Vidhya Balan lauded her.

The actress said Vidya Balan lauded her for her kissing scene in Bombay Begam. Vidya said, ‘I know as a fellow actor that it’s not easy to do kissing scenes. But you kissed damn well, man! I didn’t cringe.’ Pooja speaking about Vidya’s reaction said, “Hearing that from a female actor felt great. When people look at us, they feel that we’ve a really glamorous lifestyle and it’s exotic to do any kind of intimacy onscreen. But it’s the most awkward thing to shoot! The challenge is to make it look bearable.”

Speaking about Lata Mangeshkar the actress said, “She (Lata) was asked during an interview that from the current lot, whose work she resonates with the most. She said, ‘I like Pooja Bhatt because her eyes have got a lot of pain in them.’ I went, ‘Really? Wow!’”

Pooja Bhatt also lauded Alia in an interview and said, “Alia knows how to separate her personal (life) from the professional (one) She doesn’t think she needs to give her opinion for everything or that you (the audience) has a right to every area of her life and that’s how she’s engineered to live her life. Brahmastra for me was very special, I went first day first show.”

On the work front, Pooja Bhatt will soon be seen alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the psychological crime thriller film Chup: Revenge of the Artist. Written and directed by R. Balki, the film is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2022. In the film, Pooja essays the part of Zenobia, a criminal psychologist.
