Bhopal: For the first time in the country post mortem has been done of the corpse of the patient who died due to coronavirus. After all, how did this virus kill more than 50 thousand people. This is also important because before this the autopsy of any corona infected has not taken place. Even dead bodies are not given to the families. By this research, it will be known that after getting infected, how much the virus damages the heart, mind, lungs and other organs.

A special team of doctors was formed for this post-mortem at Bhopal AIIMS. These doctors will find a new way to study the autopsy by post mortem. From this post-mortem, the effect on body parts caused by coronavirus will also be investigated by experts. After the approval of ICMR, after the death of a 58-year-old patient at AIIMS Bhopal, doctors sought permission from the family for post-mortem for this research. The post-mortem was done on Sunday after the approval of the family of the deceased. This is the first case of post-mortem study in the country after the death of a corona-infected patient.

The Bhopal AIIMS had sought permission from ICMR to conduct research on the body. The ICMR, while disagreeing on the case, refused to allow research, fearing that the doctors might get infected during the post-mortem, but AIIMS sent details of arrangements made to prevent it. Later ICMR gave permission to conduct the research.
