After the passage of this bill from Parliament, a lawsuit will be filed against China in federal court to recover damages for death, disease and economic loss caused by epidemic like coronavirus of a US citizen. The bill has been introduced by Tom Cotton in the Senate and Dan Crenshaw in the delegation.

According to the information, there will be an amendment in the Foreign Sovereign Defense Act after its passage and legislation, through which China can be claimed for the loss in dealing with the epidemic. That is, this bill will give the US the right to sue China for compensation. However, the bill proposes that if the US and China enter into a settlement to settle these claims, then private lawsuits can be dismissed.
