President Murmu Extends Warm Wishes on Formation Day of Multiple States, UTs

In a heartfelt message, President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her warm greetings to the citizens of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, as well as the picturesque regions of Lakshadweep and Puducherry, on the occasion of their respective formation days.

The states of Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and the enchanting archipelago of Lakshadweep all came into existence in the year 1956, marking a significant milestone in their history. As these regions celebrate their origins, President Murmu expressed her best wishes to all their inhabitants.

Notably, Punjab and Haryana emerged as independent states in the year 1966, while Chhattisgarh was carved out of Madhya Pradesh in the year 2000. These states, along with the Union Territory of Puducherry, collectively commemorate their formation day on November 1, an occasion filled with pride and unity.

President Murmu shared her heartfelt sentiments, saying, "Greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry on this special day! I extend my sincere wishes for these regions to continue their journey of progress and development. May the residents of these states and union territories always find happiness and prosperity in their lives."

The President's message was shared on a popular social media platform, where she conveyed her optimism for the growth and well-being of these diverse regions.
