New Delhi: Tihar Jail located in the country's capital Delhi has been in headlines for some time now. Former jail minister of Kejriwal government Satyendar Jain is imprisoned here for the last 1 year in corruption case, where he was found getting massage from rapist, for the first time Tihar came in headlines for the same reason. After this, questions were raised on the security system of Tihar due to the murder of gangster Tillu Tajpuria in the jail, and now a prisoner has committed suicide in Delhi's Tihar Jail.

According to media reports, 26-year-old prisoner Javed has lost his life. Allegedly he has committed suicide by hanging himself. Police has taken the dead body of the prisoner and sent it for postmortem. The reason for the prisoner's suicide has not been revealed yet. According to sources, this incident took place on Monday. The police of Hari Nagar police station is investigating the matter. According to the information of the jail administration, on May 22, the prisoner Javed was convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge-2 (FTC) South.

Javed was convicted of Robbery or use of a deadly weapon in the course of Robbery, besides two other sections. After this he was brought to Central Jail No. 8/9. Here he committed suicide by hanging himself in the common toilet area around 5 pm. The jail administration has given the details of the incident to all concerned. Its judicial magistrate inquiry has also started.
