New Delhi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has removed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) flag from a playground located in Mizarpur district, forcing an officer to quit his post. On this news, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has attacked the RSS by tweeting.
Priyanka Gandhi wrote that, 'What is the work of the branch in Malaviyaji's organ? It is the job of the RSS to break all the laws. It is noteworthy that Priyanka Gandhi is seen attacking most of the opponents through Twitter. Congress party's chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also attacked the Yogi government of the state on this pretext. Let me tell you that at the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus of BHU in Mizarpur, Deputy Chief Proctor Kiran Damle was accused of 'insulting religious beliefs' by removing the RSS flag.
At the same time, BHU became an arena of ruckus in the past, when the police took 15 students in custody. After the stone-pelting of two groups of students reached the university campus, the police took action, and again the students' anger was ignited. Till late night, students shouted slogans against the police at University Gate.
