Priyanka comments over black fungus infection raising questions against Modi government

Lucknow: The country is witnessing a decline in the case of corona patients, but black fungus (Black Fungus) cases are on the rise. More than 12,000 cases of fungal infection have been reported across the country and many people have died. This infection has been declared as an epidemic in many regions.

More than 1,000 cases have been registered in the country's capital Delhi till Wednesday. Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that 1,044 cases of black fungus have been registered in Delhi till Wednesday while 89 people have lost their lives due to the infection. On the other hand, many states say they do not have enough medicines to treat the disease. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has questioned the government over the increasing number of infection cases and shortage of medicines in the country.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has attacked the Centre through one saying, "There is a hue and cry over the injection of mucore mycosis (black fungus). Even after the achievement of the 'World Dispensary', we have been repeatedly short of medicines in this disaster. Who is responsible? " She said injections are expensive, not covered in Ayushman Yojana. Modiji, please take quick steps in this direction.
