Guntur: Addressing a meeting organized at the DPO of Guntur city on Wednesday on the occasion of Welfare Day, Guntur Rural SP Vishal Gunni said that he will give instructions to pay the benefits of retired police and deceased police personnel. And to solve the problems, a single window system has been established under the leadership of Armed Reserve RI and a constable. He extended his support to solve the problems of the police personnel. He assured that he will take all steps to release the benefits to the employees. Guntur Rural Additional SP Risanth Reddy, NVS Murthy, Additional SP (AR) SVD Prasad, Special Branch DSP Durga Prasad were present.

Similarly, West Godavari district superintendent of police Rahul Dev Sarma promised that the kin of policemen who died of Kovid need not make rounds of offices to get the final settlement amount, but they will get the salary at their doorstep. Speaking at the Police Welfare Day meeting held at the Police Headquarters here on Wednesday, he said that the kin of retired employees and those who died of the disease, including COVID, are members of the police family and their problems would definitely be resolved.
