The Congress had recently shared a picture of the girls showing a photo of the bus dedicated to them. But in reality, the picture is from the launch of the Pink Bus Service, which started in the BJP-ruled State of Assam, which the Congress first posted with its handle with a little editing, but later deleted its tweet to avoid the fact that social media users had opened its poll.
In a tweet, the Congress wrote, "These promises are not promises that they will bring free bus services for women, provide free, accessible and safe bus services to women. '
The party had also used '#आएगी_कांग्रेस' with the tweet. However, Twitter users had already taken a screenshot of the tweet and said that the photo shared by the Congress was a pink bus service launched by the state government led by Sarbananda Sonowal in Assam last year. That is, the Congress party is making promises by using their photographs in these elections, which have already been done in the BJP-ruled states. In Assam, the scheme is already under the name of 'Tour Sarathi' and what the Congress has hidden in its campaign is the logo of Assam State Transport Corporation.
