After registering new cases, the number of corona infected in Punjab has increased to 26,529. At the same time, after the death of 29 people, the total number of dead has reached 675. According to the Health Ministry report, so far 17,212 people have been cured from Corona in Punjab.

According to the data, 243 reports have been received from Ludhiana city in the state in a day. Seven people have also died here. Jalandhar is at number two, 174 people were found positive here and 4 people died. 120 people have been found positive in Patiala.

In view of the growing case of Corona in the state, Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu has banned departmental transfers and holidays till 30 September. In a statement issued by Balbir Singh Sidhu on Wednesday, it has been said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the current situation of Kovid-19. According to the order, no leave will be granted to any officer / employee till September 30, and only maternity leave and child care leave case for the most urgent reason will be allowed to leave. The government has decided to provide plasma from the plasma bank to the private hospital in Punjab at a cost price. According to the information and public relations department of Punjab, private hospitals from government hospitals in Punjab will get plasma at the rate of Rs 20,000 per unit. Plasma will be given free of cost to patients whose treatment is going on in the government hospital.
