Chandigarh: Protests by farmers' organizations in Punjab against the new agriculture laws are continuing so far. In the meantime, a delegation of farmers' organizations from Punjab will meet central government officials in Delhi today. The meeting will start at around 11:30 p.m. In the meantime, the central government is going to work to tell the agitating farmers their side. In addition, they can also try to take them into confidence. Thereafter, the farmers' organizations can decide the strategy ahead.

The farmers' organizations are going to meet with the Punjab government on the 15th of October, tomorrow (Thursday), but before the meeting, the farmers have given an ultimatum to the Punjab government to decide the date of convening a special assembly session against the central agriculture laws in the cabinet meeting to be held on October 14. He has also said that the farmers' organization will be meeting on 15th October with the delegation of the Punjab government to end the agitation.

On the other hand, the farmers in Punjab are now planning to start a protest. All the thermal plants in Punjab are dependent on West Bengal and Jharkhand for the supply of coal, but the agitating farmers have occupied the railway track, which is not going to transport coal. Now, there has been a huge shortage of essential coal with the thermal plant in Punjab and this has led to a growing crisis of non-power.
